Tegan is a NYC-based aerialist trained on silks, lyra, hammock, and rope. She spends her best hours throwing herself around in the air and a good chunk of the rest brainstorming ways to fly higher and better. She found her love of movement as a competitive ballroom dancer and brings the same glamor, drama, and musicality to her aerial work. Tegan started aerial arts under former Cirque du Soleil artist Autumn Lotus in California where she later completed her teacher training, and she continues to develop her practice in NYC. Tegan has performed at venues such as the Slipper Room and the Muse in NYC, the multi-day music festival Lucidity in California, and at the stunning Nesbitt Estate in Summerland for a Dream Foundation event. Tegan enjoys working with students of all ages throughout their aerial journey. She emphasizes safe and effective progressions alongside interesting sequencing and encourages each student to develop their creativity and movement style.
