The acrobatic branch of AcroYoga empowers students to realize their infinite potential through the dynamic embodiment of acrobatic partnership. Linear progressions and an emphasis on the art of spotting make learning advanced acrobatics safe, accessible, and fun. Confidence and coordination are developed in strength training and inversions, which pave the way for ease and grace in partner acrobatics. Acrobatic flying transitions are trained in groups, where we specialize in the roles of base and flyer for optimum learning curve. After refining foundations, we can train more precise acrobatic work, such as foot-to-hand, hand-to-hand and standing acrobatics. No partner necessary! Students are recommended to have an established yoga practice that includes inversions and backbends or previous experience with AcroYoga.

The restorative branch of AcroYoga focuses on the healing, relaxing and rejuvenating practices of Thai massage and restorative flying. Lunar asana sequences teach basic body mechanics and with a focus on self-love cultivation, in preparation for the dance of Thai massage. The techniques learned on the floor are then translated to the flying work, using the element of gravity to amplify the healing flow of prana (life force). Often, we will work in teams of three for safety and support, and everyone will have the opportunity to base and fly, heal and be healed. These programs offer invaluable tools for yoga teachers, massage therapists and holistic healthcare practitioners who wish to develop a soothing, compassionate touch when working with students or clients.

Acroyoga is a partner practice that integrate the art of yoga, acrobatics, and that massage. Grounded in breath, we will explore partner flows and sequences that draw upon the natural forces of gravity and "metta" ~ loving kindness ~ to create a safe, fun-filled, heart-opening experience! As we explore more dynamic sequences, students will practice inversion and partner acrobatics with the support if a spotter, and learn techniques to develop stretch, flexibility, and body awareness. No pater necessary!
This basics class is recommended for students new to partner yoga & acrobatics.
Basics Students are encouraged to take the AcroYoga 101 Workshop taught each month on a weekend day. No partner needed.
AcroYoga Flow invites all levels from beginner to intermediate, to playfully support, encourage, and inspire each other as a group. Instructors begin the class creating unity and playful fellowship, then structure the skills for progressive learning. More experienced students mix with the beginners, accelerating their learning curve. Then, each student will find their appropriate learning level. Challenge options are offered for seasoned students; new students are permitted to explore the skills at their comfort level.
Students brand-new to AcroYoga are recommended to begin with Level 1 (Basics) classes, but are welcome to join in.
Already experienced with the AcroYoga practice and vocabulary? Take your practice to a whole new level with your AcroYoga community by emphasizing the process as much as the postures. Intermediate students learn skills sequenced to flow elements together elegantly, refining acrobatic transitions, with the aim of a pinnacle flow for each series.
Acrobatic flying transitions are typically trained in groups where we specialize in the roles of base and flyer for optimum learning curve. These specialized acrobatic roles and our emphasis on spotting techniques will empower students to unlock their fullest potential in a safe and supportive environment. No need to bring a partner!
AcroYoga Jams are a freestyle playground where you can develop and hone your skills you have learned in your AcroYoga practice. We will create a safe and friendly space for you to share skills and enjoy the fellowship of fellow AcroYogis. Host teachers can answer questions and offer feedback and tips in areas of the practice that most interest you.
