Kyla Ranney

Kyla began dancing at the ripe age of 3, falling in love immediately with all the pretty costumes and the ability to transform into any character on stage. As she continued she grew to love it even more and went on to earn her BFA in Dance from Stephens College, focusing heavily on ballet and modern dance. Shortly after graduating she made her way to New York to pursue dance further and along the way passed by Om Factory. After many years of being interested in pursuing aerial arts, Kyla had finally found a place to give it a shot and was instantly hooked. Since then Kyla has had the opportunity of performing aerial work at various venues such as The Slipper Room, The Edison Ballroom, Body and Pole, The Cutting Room and of course several events at Om Factory, as well as dancing for various choreographers such as Jessica Ray, Maya Kite and Yuka Kawazu. In addition to teaching aerial work, she also teaches dance to kids in different schools around the city. Kyla is excited to continue her aerial journey and have the opportunity to share it with others along the way!
