Bassam Kubba  “Drstadharmasukhavihari,” means to live happily in the present moment. Bassam has lived in five different countries and has worn several professional hats: software engineer, professional climber, yoga teacher, and acrobatic performer. He has finally settled down in Manhattan as a Vinyasa Yoga, AcroYoga, Aerial Yoga, and Thai bodywork teacher. He started his yoga practice in 2009 while he was a professional climber in the Middle East. Like many, his practice started as a physical one, but in time it has become a spiritual path, a lifestyle, and a career. Bassam’s classes focus on transitions & balance structure with improv, strength with flexibility, and breath with body. He is extremely passionate about sharing his knowledge.

Mary Aranas  Mary grew up in Toronto & Ottawa in Canada after migrating with her family at age 8 from Taiwan. As a young actor and bride, Mary eloped to New York and enjoyed twelve years acting in Off-Broadway and regional theatre, before finding Yoga as a new Mom. After 9/11, and then her mom’s death from cancer, she chose Yoga as her life path and healing work. She began AcroYoga in 2007, and has enjoyed building the New York AcroYoga community, and sharing it around the world. Mary is 500 Hour E-RYT, and AcroYoga, YogaSlacker, Reiki & Thai Yoga certified. Mary has taught Yoga full-time since 2002 including AcroYoga from 2008.

”Perhaps my favorite class was with Faramarz, founder of Om Factory. Funny enough, I was there on my birthday and he's a hoot. He challenges his students while being encouraging.”
