CHRISTA MAXWELL

Christa began her aerial journey by enrolling in a silks class on a whim in college, and instantly fell in love. After moving to NYC, she continued her training at the Muse Brooklyn, and soon started specializing in lyra. She has since performed with various companies across the city such as Bindlestiff and ABCirque. With a background in theatre, she loves to infuse character and storytelling into her aerial choreography.

 

Her teaching style focuses on helping students become confident in their own strength, while having fun and developing their own sense of artistic style. She has worked with the kids' aerial classes for the past 2 years, and loves seeing her students grow and progress over time!
