Mei Kei Maggie Hui

Mei Kei (Maggie) grew up in Hong Kong and has also lived in Australia. She trained as an architect and focussed on traditional architecture, constantly questioning what constitutes the intimacy of a home. She moved to New York in 2015, after taking her first aerial class she was immediately hooked. She was overwhelmed by rediscovering the joy of playing like a child again; climbing up & down; creating different shapes gracefully and floating in the hammock feeling safe & sound. It was empowering both physically and mentally. At the end of her first class the seed was sown wishing one day she could share the same joy with others as well. And her dream come true.

Mei Kei focusses on connecting bodily experience with the inner world. She believes the exploration of our bodily architecture through movement and senses can brings us closer to discovering our inner-self, and be in tune with the mother nature. In addition to yoga trainings, she has studied Yoga Nidra & Restorative Yoga with Om Factory's Mary Aranas. She is also certified in Aerial & Advanced Aerial Yoga, and has studied Prenatal Yoga with Mahamama. Mei Kei hopes that through her classes everyone goes home feeling more grounded & connected, yet still with a sense of lightness and heartfelt joy.
