Keely started her training with classical ballet as well as tap, jazz, hip hop, etc. at the age of four, checking off numerous embarrassing costumes and Nutcracker appearances early in life. Later, dance continued to play a major role as she entered the dance department at Case Western Reserve University which focused on classic Graham technique and finally culminated in a B.A. in Theater with a Concentration in Dance as well as a B.A. in Biology. After dodging the prospect of med school she finally made her way to New York City where she took her first aerial class at OM Factory with Megan Hornaday and they haven't been able to get rid of her since. Aside from dance performances at the Brooklyn Dance Festival and the New York Jazz Choreography Project she has also had the privilege of performing aerial acts at Dixon Place, The Muse Brooklyn, The Slipper Room, and House of Yes and can't wait to continue to perform and explore all that aerial has to offer.
Keely regularly hosts Silks 101 workshops. Check back here for her latest schedule!
