WHAT IS yoga tune up?

Yoga Tune Up® is a well-rounded practice that incorporates movement from classical yoga and corrective exercise, along with self myofascial release via The Roll Model® Method therapy balls. Classes are designed to impart the fundamentals of traditional yoga postures by breaking down human movement and biomechanics, while focusing on embodied anatomy.

 

In this class each student is invited on an archaeological dig of their body’s anatomy, exploring every micro-region while systematically and intelligently priming body, mind, and spirit. The practice encourages exploration of personal imbalances, areas of tension, and repetitive stress. Expect to move in ways that open, energize, and inform your tissues! Interested in learning self-massage, but you’re a total yoga beginner? Not to worry, all levels are welcome!
